Accidents of First Term in 2012

In this first term of 2012, it is reported that there have been around 200 cases of accidents causing 51 deaths, 123 serious injuries, and 73 minor injuries in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

This number doesn't surprise me because as I travel along the street, I see at least 1 or 2 accidents each day. Those accidents, if you ask me, are caused by careless and dangerous driving especially by teens and drunk people.

There have not been any serious measures to those teens (most of them are under-age) who are driving in the street. Those teens drive past the traffic wardens every day and I am sure that they know those teens are not at the age of driving yet. They fine only those who drive in the red lights and turn or drive in the wrong direction only. Why don't those traffic wardens check those teens?

I have no ideas on drunk people driving on the road. There aren't enough wardens on streets at night to do the acoholic check. Drunk people drive and horn and shout in the street and only few of them were fined.
