Serious Events this March

It has been noted that there have been many serious conditions early this March.

  1. A very horrible accident which killed 3 school kids on their way back home by a 6 year medical student in front of the Ministry of Interior. The case now seems to be out of sight as there are many leading stories to take people's attention.
  2. Two political events that follow are the case of former Svay Rieng governor Mr Chouk Bandith who were allegedly opened fire and injured three female garment workers and the case of Mr Morm Sonando who were accused of convincing people to fight against the government. I am not going to talk about these cases as you can follow many sites to find out more information.
  3. Another case which is attracting people's attention is the accident happened in the evening of 7 March. The accident which was caused by a container truck driver on a group of artists on their way to Sihanuk Ville. The group led by one of outstanding singers Mr Khemarak Sereymum who was claimed to suffer minor injury together with other three women. Other four people have been claimed to be dead. Each of two was the sons of two famous comedians. One was Mr Joung Ji's and the other was Mrs Noy Samnang's.
  4. At the same spot of the accident at around 1.30 am while the police and other related parties were working on Mr Khemarak's accident, another one followed. Another truck which were carrying beers seemed to be out of control and hit the police car, ambulance, and tower truck and killed 3 other people - one at the spot and two at a hospital and injured a few more.
