Surrounded

It's the first day of three claimed to hold a peaceful demostration in Phnom Penh by the opposition party. There have been a lot of things outside. What i can do now is to check for news in social networks. Facebook is one of the most popular which is mostly used by the opposition party’s supporters to fight against the goverment. It is used to criticize most tv channels whose most programs support the goverment.

Posted pictures on FB show violence between the opposition party’s suppoters and the police who were trying to prevent those who come to the city to join the strike at the police’s check points. The police have set many many wire barrier check points especially along some main streets such as Preah Norodom BLVD and Preah Monivong BLVD.

I have also been surrounded by those police. I dare not go out any where for safety and it was hard to find ways out to any nearby places such as markets, clinics, and phamacies. The whole city seems very quiet and not like the usual weekend. Staying home all day like this is like in prison.

Poor Cambodians People.
